RIM & Microsoft: Bed Fellows?

Comments

It really confuses me how RIM has no native support for other operating systems and email programs other than Windows, Exchange Server and Outlook. Granted their target market of corporate clients is almost exclusively Microsoft users, there should still be some effort into supporting others like Macintosh and Linux. I would love to see RIM have support for Thunderbird, I get too many outside emails that usings Outlook with all the security holes is not possible.

Have an Apple computer and want to use a Blackberry? Well you will need to shell out an additional $29.95 for PocketMac to be able to sync your Blackberry to Apple computer. This is foolish and beyond my comprehension how such a company targetted on growth would be so narrow-minded. RIM please expand your Blackberry support to other programs other than one’s made by Micro$oft.

I wholeheartedly agree. I use Linux and Thunderbird and love it. Why should I have to choose between Thunderbird and my BlackBerry?
