The Inquirer writes about a government official that mistakenly sends an email about degrading journalists to a journalist himself. The email was suppose to be sent to a colleague but the tool Alastair Campbell did not check his To field.
The Evening Standard reported that Campbell had meant to send the comment about the BBC journalists to one of his colleagues, but fumbled with his Blackberry RIM and mistakenly sent an email to the hacks he was criticising, instead. The email reads “There’s no loyalty in this trade you know. The Standard reported him saying about the BBC hacks on Newsnight, “Now #@!% off and cover something important you %#$!$.”
