An anonymous reader asked us:

How do I delete a downloaded ringtone from my 7290, once I’ve grown tired of it?

It’s fairly easy to delete ring tones from your Blackberry. All you need to do is go to “Sounds” –> Wheel-Click and “Show Tunes” –> Highlight The Ring Tone –> Wheel-Click and “Delete”.

You can download additional ringtones to the 7290? Can I do this without the BES only with my device?

Try this software for your 7100 – it has a limited trial version for free. Very nice and fast:

To get rid of those empty files you need to remove the phone’s battery and then when you switch it back on they should be gone!
