Blackberry Connect has been released for the Sony Ericsson P910i. The Blackberry Connect technology allows 3rd party manufactures to bring RIM’s push-email technology to their own devices. Palm, Nokia, Sony Ericsson are some of the few companies that have already announced plans to make Blackberry Connect technology available on their handsets. The Sony Ericsson P910 software update is only good for the European version of the phone designated the P910i and not the North American which is the P910a. Yeah we feel your frustration, the Europeans and Asians always get the coolest stuff first.

No word out on Blackberry Connect available for the 910a. Seeing that RIM resolves their patent dispute with NTP I am sure that more phones in North America will be getting Blackberry Connect.
