NEW YORK, March 7 (Reuters) – Piper Jaffray on Monday reduced its rating on BlackBerry wireless e-mail device maker Research In Motion Ltd. to “market perform” from “outperform,” citing increased competition.

    I don’t think Apple is a problem because you don’t mention who the competition is that’s to threaten the blackberry. Microsoft will have to spend a lot of that free cash to beat RIMM.
