Autotext is a feature on your device that will automatically change common spelling mistakes and also allow for shortcut words. Examples would be changing ‘cant’ into ‘can’t’ and ‘mynumber’ to your actual Blackberry phone number. You can always add and edit the AutoText list by going to the compose email screen –> wheel-click and “Edit Autotext” –> wheel-click and “New”. You will then be asked to enter a word and the word to replace it. A good idea is to add names and replace it with the proper capitalization like ‘john’ to ‘John’ or ‘fbi’ to ‘FBI’.
