Onyx Software Corporation today announces the continued momentum of its mobile family of customer management products. Onyx introduces several key enhancements to its Onyx Employee Portal (OEP) Offline Edition and Onyx for BlackBerry, and announces the availability of Onyx for the Treo by palmOne, Inc. With these improvements, Onyx has made it easier for mobile professionals to manage their customer interactions, sales opportunities, service and support incidents and tasks on the mobile device of their choice.
Onyx Employee Portal (OEP) – Offline Edition delivers an intuitive, browser-based client for offline laptop access with data synchronization over an ultra-light mobile architecture. In this release, OEP Offline Edition adds flexible, customizable synchronization via the Onyx Enterprise Application Server and provides an easy-to-use subscription model that allows mobile professionals to select the specific information they want to have access to when disconnected from the corporate network.

In addition, Onyx announces several new features for its BlackBerry offering. Along with numerous other usability enhancements, the latest version of Onyx for BlackBerry allows users to:

— Apply reminders for sales opportunities, service requests and associated tasks
— Access the top 10 most recently viewed customers
— View complex relationships to ensure a complete view of any given customer
— View each customer’s complete product and service portfolio

Onyx also announces that it has optimized Onyx for the Treo from palmOne, Inc., giving mobile professionals fast wireless access to client data and high priority tasks maintained for them in their corporate Onyx Customer Management application.
Onyx Mobile products feature thin, browser-based clients that can be automatically deployed and updated from a standard URL. Onyx has packaged the mobile products into a single offering that customers can purchase as a bundle, allowing them to utilize any of the mobile products for a single fee.
