There has been several questions regarding installing or upgrading a program and then being unable to connect to the internet. The issue may be a problem with your device firewall setting and it needs to be reset. To reset firewall settings on your handheld do the following:
1. On the handheld Home screen, click Options (or click Settings > Options for some of the BlackBerry 7100 series).
2. Select Firewall.
3. Click the trackwheel and select Reset Settings from the menu.
4. Do a hard reset. Take out the battery, wait 30 seconds and reinsert.
