Blackberry administrators can delay mail processing in order to allow time for anti-virus or anti-spam software to scan messages.
Here’s how:
1. Open the Registry Editor.
2. For BlackBerry Enterprise Server version 2.1 and earlier, browse to/:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Server\
For BlackBerry Enterprise Server versions 3.5 and 3.6, browse to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Servers\name of server\
For BlackBerry Enterprise Server version 4.0, browse to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Enterprise Server\Agents\
3. If the ProcessMailDelay registry entry already exists, change the Data field to the number of seconds you would like mail processing to be delayed.

If you have to add the value in the registry what type is it? REG_SZ or REG_DWORD?
Thanks
Is there anyway to do this on the Desktop Redirector as well?
Please email me at jc[AT]teamseicom if this is possible.
Can this also be done to the Desktop Redirector?
Please email me at jc[AT]teamseicom
Thank you,
-Joe
The registry key added must be a REG_DWORD
