Bluetooth Device Disconnects after Each Call

If you’re having issues with your Bluetooth headset in the way of each time you make a call on your Bluetooth-enabled Blackberry, your Bluetooth device disconnects. The cause of the problem is that “trust mode” is not enabled.

To Enable Trust Mode, do the following:

1. From the BlackBerry main menu, select Options –> Bluetooth.

The Paired Device screen appears.

2. Scroll to your Bluetooth device and click the trackwheel.
3. Select Device Properties.
4. Set the Trusted field to Yes.

    I have a blackberry pearl 8100; I can’t pair my bluetooth with my car; it was working fine until I was in the car oncea and the prompt screen asked if I wanted to connect to device; I said no because I was in the car with others; the message kept comming up so I clicked the box that said don’t show this message again….ever since I have not been able to pair phone…how do I restore the pairing?

    My Volvo bluetooth device seems to turn off the sound on the radio if my Blackberry phone is turned on and within the car.  The radio works fine when the Blackberry phone is not in the car or is turned off.  What is causing this problem ?  It began after the car was serviced.
