i cant send texts or ring people. It says i need to activate wireless but i dont know how to? could you send me a step by step?

I don’t have GPRS in my ‘network to send over’ button I only have;

1. Circuit switched
2. Circuit switched preferred
3. Packet switched preferred
4. Packet switched

Please help!!!!!

I have a blackberry Pearl 8120 and I couldn’t receive messages however could do everything else. I selected Options – SMS – Network coverage – GPRS Preferred. It was on GPRS. When I selected “GPRS Preferred” it fixed my problem.

go to your text sms settings and put the message centre number number and ur problem is solved!

Hi Oliver, you can go to home–>options—->Mobile Network—->select Network Mode and change from 3 G to 2 G.
I just recover my Blackberry Bold 9000 and I can send SMS now.
