I just purchased a 2006 BMW 750Li with Bluetooth. My Blackberry 7250 seems to pair but the BMW hangs on “reading data”. Is the 7250 compatible with the 2006 750LI?

Larry, I too just purchased a 2006 750 Li and I’m having the exact same problem with my blackberry. I’ll let you know if I find out anything if you can do the same. Thanks, Claude

I managed to pair my Blackberry 7290 with the BMW 2006 325i series. What you need to do is to upgrade the OS/firmware on the blackberry to the newest version. I think it’s version 4.x something. Just look for it in the internet and you will find it. Once I got it upgraded, I was able to maintain an automatic stable connection (99% success rate).

I am trying to pair my blackberry 7105t with two different bluetooth devices BTH850 headset and the mobile BT-04t mobile car kit. I can not get the devices to pair. Can you help

I am trying to connect my 7105T and my new 2006 BMW 530XI, it keeps asking for some type of code? This is becoming very frustrating, any thoughts or suggestions on who to get make this right would be appreciated.

I just got a new 2006 525xi – i was having the same problem with the code — luckily i had my car delivered by the dealership and i made sure they set up and had it working before i signed the dotted line…
Anyhow they just used “1234″ and it worked! Within a few seconds it should detect your blackberry, and your blackberry should ask you to confirm your BMW request. Make sure you have bluetooth enabled on your 7105. If you don’t see the bluetooth logo next to the clock on the home screen its not activated.

We got the 8700c pairing and working fine with a new 2006 750. In fact, the address book even comes across to the car, the only problem seems to be a that changes to addreses on the blackberry don’t always make it over to the car, or if they do, it’s after so delay.

After downloading the latest Blackberry 7290 software from the cingular website, my BMW 530i sync’d with the address book and caller ID fully functional.

Anyone else find Nap Wright’s success in syncing a 7290 with a 530i? I’m looking to convert from a Treo 650 (which works perfectly) and don’t want to lose funtionality. I see on most blogs that it DOESN’T work. Congrats Nap!

Very breifly, I have a Verizon treo 755. I recently bought a 2006 BMW 550. I decided to change my phone and bought a slightly used Verizon Blackberry 7130e, which is the only verizon pda phone supported by BMW. I have not connected it to the Verizon server yet until I make sure it pairs with my cars device. I tried to pair it but it doesn’t despite following the directions. Could it be doing so because its not activated yet or something else could be worng?

The connection of the phone to the BMW was perfect. Easy fast, address book caller ID etc.

Now, Music. Can I copy my CDs to my computer, transfer the CDs to a micro SD and play them in the BMW?

All I hear about is how swell iPhones work in a BMW. Can a 8830 get my CDs into the car?

I just bought a 2006 BMW 750 LI and my BlackBerry Storm Bluetooth does not work with it . I wonder is it because of a new phone , older car issue ? Is there a way to fix it ?

Hi. I have a 2006 530i BMW, which was delivered in August 2005. My cell phone carrier is Verizon, which I don’t want to terminate. Can you tell me if there are any Blackberry phones which will work with the limited bluetooth capability this BMW has. I don’t want to buy/use any modification kits.

Hi.Just bought a new BMW last year 2008 model.Bluetooth works fine ,i have paired BB8830 ,storm and iphone in my car everything works fine and great .i have only one glitch i cannot stream music from my blackberry to bmw audio.iphone works fine and great.

i have a bmw 135i and a nextel blackberry. the phone calls go through without a problem, but the direct connect doesn’t, any adjustments I need to make?

I’m having problems with my bluetooth connecting to my phone. when I connected my samsung galaxy s II. it connected then months later it disconnected and will not reconnect. I connected my wife’s iphone it worked , today it disconnect on now will not reconnect
