You have to tell the BlackBerry Desktop Manager to sync with your personal folders. Although it does not do this wirelessly it will only do when you cable sync the device. You also will have an option in your Email Properties to “Hide filed messages” so you will not continue to see them.

let me ask something here…why wont the blackberry sync with your Outlook 2003 (using Exchange) mailbox? if I file a message from my outlook inbox to another folder then i dont want that message still in the messgae list on my blackberry. that is called synchronizing. the blackberry from what I have seen (I have the 7100G0 just pushes, not syncs. any thoughts?

It’s imperative for my Sales users to have ALL e-mail delivered to the handheld, in the cradle or not. The e-mails contain contact and address information that they need when not in the office. Turn off the in-cradle delivery, and they’ve got no way to access the information while in the field.

Say Jim hasn’t had a chance to reply to an email that just came into is computers inbox. If he has it set up not to receive emails while he’s Cradled then he won’t be able to reply to that email while he’s on the road or at home.

I have alot of users that want to be able to see all their emails on their BB all the time.

What makes no sense is WHY ol’ Jimbo would want to still receive those e-mails on his blackberry when it’s connected to his desktop which he is more than likely SITTING AT!!! Chalk one up to the Seizure Helmet League. Oops, you dropped a chromosone there, buddy!
