i would like to have an expense tracker that does not export to quicken but actually syncs with quicken.

as for the other users wanting a camera, i have had 3 camera phones including the palm treo 650 and i never used the camera feature.

the killer app would be for rim to include some real desktop software, a real integrated desktop pim like palm.

i would like to be able to build custom forms on my blackberry which would store information in a flatfile database. in other words, custom field entries, ie Repair Order, Year, Make, Model, Notes, Date. Of course this would probably require the blackberry to have an external memory slot too, but not for a week to week or month to month basis.

as for all these program for the palm treo, except for about 2 or 3, they are mostly crap anyway and email on palm treo really sucks.

ps: to be military grade, the 7100i is cheap plastic junk. however, i prefer a candybar type phone because i work in hostile environment. not software related but rim could get pointers from motorola and build a bullet proof pda/phone.

I think the most useful thing would be an adapter to connect a BlackBerry to a projector in order to show powerpoint presentations. This would allow me to drop the laptop when travelling and use the BlackBerry exclusively.

Here is one which works with the Treo:

I love my blackberry...however as a previous Sidekick user, I am saddened by the poor browser capabilty on it. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE -give us better browser capabilities.....java script enabled if possible....at least a real web browser, with graphics. I would also like to know who is calling me without picking up the phone to look..so if the person is logged im my address book, "voice caller ID" announces the name....(Sue is calling).

1. Similar to the Quicken request, a Microsoft Money synch tool. It'll never happen because MS is way to protectionist to empower the BB platform, but it would be nice anyways.

2. Voice commands for the phone dialer and for sending pre-canned e-mails/SMS's.

3. A PIM synch tool for Linux!
