BlackBerry Messenger Released

Blackberry Messenger
BlackBerry Messenger is a new software release that allows easy PIN-to-PIN messaging directly from RIM. It transforms PIN-to-PIN messaging into an easy instant messaging interface. So anyone that is familiar with MSN, AIM, or Yahoo would be right at home. Advanced features include group-chat, availability of status of other contacts, tracks message delivery status, file transfers, and much more.

We found that one of the nicest feature is the ability to group chat in real-time. Now you can converse instantly and hold quick meetings with personnel anywhere there’s data coverage.

There is no doubt that the partnerships announced earlier this year with Yahoo, MSN, and AOL had a role in the development of Blackberry Messenger. Now all we need is to have these instant messaging services supported in Blackberry Messenger so there would be no need to spend extra money on 3rd party software.

There is no doubt that this program will be standard in the upcoming OS releases but for now you can and should download Blackberry Messenger.

Screenshots are below, however due to the nature of the program we couldn’t gather any conversation screenshots.
