If you’re itching to actually play against real people, however, THK2 also offers network poker. You can play against up to five other live players at either the public or private tables. Speed of play can vary greatly depending upon the number of people at a table and where they’re connecting from, but this can be circumvented through THK2′s Heads Up mode. Heads Up offers some quick and dirty one-on-one action that will probably become your favorite way to play.

The in-game controls are pretty intuitive; Magmic’s recently released 2.1.1 update provides controls for different styles of play. Players who prefer using the keypad can check and raise just as easily as those who prefer using the scroll wheel. You can also set chat macros to make in-game chat way easier for those with the new 7100 BlackBerries.

Conclusion

Texas Hold’em King 2 is one of the most addictive and easiest to play mobile poker games on the market. Whether playing online against your buddies, or pushing in all your chips against the bots, this game is sure to eat away your time at the airport or the office – anywhere you can spare fifteen minutes.

    In playing this game in World Series Mode it readily becomes evident that the game is not winnable. The reason for this is each of the 5000 players at the beginning of the tournament start with 1500 chips. That’s 7.5 million chips total. When I was playing I got down under 300 remaining players on day 4. I had over 8 million chips myself and had several other players at my table with over 1 million chips each. That doesn’t include the other 290 + players still in the tournament. While I enjoy the game if it isn’t realistic then whats the use?

    You are obviously not paying the game well. I had a crack at World series yesterday and won $5.0mil(ist place). I would say its a bit easy.

    Forgive me but you are the dumb ass. He said he had more chips than were issued in total to all players combined at the beginning of tournament. If there are only 7.5 million in play how can he have 8 million him self?

    I heard if u hit the (K) repetedly it will raise. Idk have not figure out how to even get the game. But that is what I read at another posting for this game. I hope that works. Good luck

    This games sucks. LIVE play takes up to 5 minutes for some people to play a card. BORING!!!!!

    I have been playing texas holdem for years and this game does not even remotely feel like playing real people. And yes, the AI loves to go all in with very marginal hands way too often.

    This game totally sucks. Never seen such flukey hands. The AI seems to know what cards you have.
