This post was VERY helpful, thanks. I now receive message to my blackberry that were previously going to a subfolder on my desktop. Now I am having the issue of receiveing the email in the inbox on the blackberry as well as within the subfolder of the blackberry. If I delte the email in the inbox, it is deleted fromt he subfolder as well. What setting do I need to change to have the email only show up in the subfolder?

Hello, I am running BES 4.0+ on BB Bold. I enabled redirection of all folders in my BB. After some time, I created a new folder in my outlook 2007 and a corresponding Outlook rule. I reconciled my BB and the new folder shows up in the list of folders in BB. I also ensured that the folder is enabled for redirection. But, I do not get the new mails in neither my BB inbox or BB folder. I do get it in my Outlook new folder...so the Outlook rule worked.

Is there anything else in addition to do after creating a new folder for redirection?

Thanks
Arun

I dont have a redirector settings, or any email settings at all on my desktop manager. I am not on an enterprise server. I would like to file emails in seperate folders but dont understand how to manage the emails like that. The only folders available are the default folders such as "browser msgs", "missed calls", "phone logs" etc. I actually need to understand the enterprise server vs. internet server concept also. Can you educate me on this concept? thanks.
