I have the same problem with four of the devices connected to my BES server. None of the users have any filters applied. any ideas?

From the main menu on the BlackBerry hold down the Alt key and click the trackwheel. If it says “Show All” then select that. Then look at the main menu again and any of the icons you see with an X through you will need to highlight and then hold the Alt key and Click the trackwheel. Uncheck the box that says “Hide Application”

I have a similar problem. It appears that random entries have been deleted from my address book. I did not delete any entries and I have no filters applied. Did they synchronize somewhere? This has never happened before and, to my knowledge, I don’t have it set up to sync with my Lotus Notes. I checked the Lotus Notes address book and these entries didn’t move there. Is there some default backup file somewhere on my desktop?

I am having the same problem, and I see it sporadically all over the web. NO filters are applied, and when I call a number that I know to be in my address book, it shows the name of the person as though it were in the address book… Plus the number in Outlook of contacts matches the number shown on the handheld in Desktop Manager. But the number I am seeing of contacts in my Blackberry Address Book is about 50% of my contacts. Example: I try to look up Andrew Berry. He is not listed in my Blackberry Address book, even though he was earlier today. He is in my Outlook as well. When I manually dial his number and hit “send”, it says “Calling Andrew Berry”! So it must be on the system, just not displaying for some reason. And again, I know what I am doing and NO filters are selected.

I hope someone can post a resolution. My contacts are disappearing, rather randomly, and it is getting VERY frustrating!

My address book is not displayed, but I cannot click on it to edit the options, because the icon is not shown. I have Show All on, on my main screen, but I still can’t see it. Any ideas?

As with everybody above, my blackberry shows no listings in my address book. I’ve togled between personal and business filers and still nothing. I know they are there because when I hit ‘options’ in the address book it says I have 392 under’ Number of Entries’… Very frustrating.

I am ready to throw this blackberry out the window. My address book will randomly say “no entries”. When I click on it the only option it gives is to enter a new address entry. When someone calls that is listed in my address book, you will see their name appear on the screen.

The only way that I have found to get them back it to remove my battery and put it back in. Even powering it off and on doesn’t work. There is no way to get to the options or look at the filters.
