Engadget has scooped up the first pictures of the new Palm Treo 700 that runs on Windows Mobile, it is confirmed to be coming out on the Verizon network, and does have Windows Mobile 5.0. The devices uses the 240×240 square resolution. Contrary to the article on Engadget, it will never have a 320×320 display, Windows Mobile 5.0 only supports 240×240 or 480×480 square resolutions.
