I’m getting duplicate emails to my Blackberry device and can not figure out why. I currently have a 7520 on Nextel which receives my work and Gmail emails. My work email is fine, but every Gmail email gets duplicated.

When it comes to duplicate emails, it’s usually always the case where you have setup the email to forward from two places. The places that you need to check are your Blackberry Internet Service account, Gmail settings, and your Outlook forwarding rules. Do one of the following, but not all because you’ll stop receiving all emails together.

RIM and Cingular Introduce BlackBerry Connect

Cingular Wireless and Research In Motion today introduced BlackBerry ConnectTM to the U.S. marketplace. Cingular is the first U.S. carrier to offer the popular BlackBerry wireless services on a third-party handset via the BlackBerry Connect licensing program from RIM. The Nokia 9300 is scheduled to be available in the U.S. through Cingular Wireless beginning in November.

RIM profit surges; Growth disappoints


Research In Motion Ltd. reported a 57 percent jump in its second-quarter profit on Wednesday as surging demand for its popular BlackBerry wireless e-mail device drove sales higher. But its stock fell in after-hours trading as customer additions and forecasts for subscriber growth disappointed some investors, offsetting an increase in the company’s third-quarter sales forecast. RIM shares fell almost 4 percent to $74.35 on the electronic Inet brokerage system from their close of $77.25 on Nasdaq. The stock closed down 49 Canadian cents at C$90.42 in Toronto.

RIM To Post Q2 Results Today


RIM is going to post their second-quarter earning for 2005 today at 5pm Eastern Time. Along with the fiscal report, most people are expecting the official announcement of the Blackberry 8700, so this could be an interesting conference call even to non-investors.
