I am fairly new to the Blackberry world and didn’t know that 3rd party programs could be loaded on to the Blackberry device. So when I found out about3rd party games for the Blackberry device I got pretty excited, because I am getting tired of Brick Breaker. Anyways I went ahead and downloaded the necessary game files to my PC, opened Desktop Manager and Application Loader is missing. Any idea why my Application Loader is missing?

Your Application Loader is missing most likely due to a setting in your company’s IT policy. You will need to contact your Blackberry administrator to get this resolved. However, you can also try the following:

1. Start Microsoft Windows Explorer.

2. Go to the Application Loader default installation location found in:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader.

3. Double-click Loader.exe. You can now use Application Loader.

This will start Application Loader, but there’s no guarantee’s that the games may load because your handheld could be blocked from installing 3rd party software on your handheld. So if this fails, you will definetely need to go see your Blackberry administrator.

    There is no Loader.exe in the AppLoader folder. I am using a 8700c from Cingular. Am I missing something? My Application loader icon disappeared.

    Same problem as michael.

    My Loader.exe program is missing all together.

    I know i have seen Loader.exe before though, running in my processes list. Im wondering if its been mistaken for a virus program or something and been deleted.

    What the hell is Microsoft Windows Explorer?? Is that the internet??? if it is where do I find “go to the Application Loader default installation location found in:
    C:Program FilesCommon FilesResearch In MotionAppLoader” Im LOST!!!!!
