HelloWorld a program that started as a freeware basic Google Maps viewer, has now launched HelloWorld 3.0. Although the program is no longer freeware, the developer has added enough features that the price is very reasonable. The most useful new feature is the directional path, where you type in a starting point and a destination and the program will automatically outline your driving direction with a blue line. Standard directions are also given in text which provides the distance. Other features include business searches, satellite view, and the ability to save locations.
The program is now offered as shareware with full usability, the only difference is the text “unregistered” will be displayed on the map screen. HelloWorld retails for $19.99 on Neon Toad.
