This is all fine IF the trackball and/or keyboard are working. In my case, they’re not. Is there another way?

I wiped my blackberry and sold my phone. The guy emailed me back saying that my email set up is still there, is there a way i can get rid of that without having the device with me? It’s because he doesn’t live in the same city.

Try “Settings”, “Security Options”, “General Settings”, then hit the BlackBerry key and select “Wipe Handheld”.

Worked for me.

The above procedure for “Erasing all data on handheld” does not work for my Blackberry Curve 8310, v4.2.2.170.

1. You should mention that you have to go to the Settings folder to get to “Options”.

2. “Security Options” is on the menu under Options, but “Wipe Handheld” is not an option under that, on my Blackberry Curve.
