Russell over at BBHub has been invited to the official launching party for the Blackberry 8700c set for November 1st in New York. This event will be held at multimedia event space Tribute NYC, and will feature celebrity guest Lance Armstrong, as well as guests from Cingular and BlackBerry-maker Research In Motion. Investors should take note to buy a few days ahead of the unveiling party because we’re guessing RIMM will jump up a few points on the announcement.
And we also wanted to point out to RIM and Cingular that we’re still patiently waiting for our invite.

The launch of the BBY 8700c is definitely on track. I already received and RSVP’d to the invite of one of Cingular’s corporate sales execs. A Priority Code is required to register and a unique reference number is provided to each registrant. Following is the context of the invite:

This is a very nice and cool phone, just need to add ev-do and support t-mobile than it would be perfect. Does anyone know if this phone will ever have a t-mobile counterpart?
