@LG: the blackberry maps disappeared on mine, too. From what I found out,bbmaps was only for 4.2

Hi,

I upgraded the software from 4.2 to 4.5 on a 8310 curve. The maps logo has disapeared. Can someone please help me with this? Do I have to install it? If so how do I do it?

I have saved some positions as Favorites in google maps on my blackberry 8130. How can I export these positions to my desktop computer or read the data, so that I can find them on my desktop google maps? Thanks!

Hey guys I have a question, I just got a blackberry 8310 from rim and new to applications, I currently do not have a data plan, but am I still able to use google maps? And if I do will I be charged per kb from my service provider (ROGERS) for installing and using google maps? Any help would be great

I had the same problem (accurate to 1100 meters). I uninstalled and reinstalled, it now works. I do have an odd issue with the search feature. The font is white on a white background?

Is anyone having an issue with it not being able to find your location lately? Mine worked fine for 2 months, now says “Your current location is temporarily unavailable”. Any Ideas?

google maps for blackberry. accurate up to 1100 meters???
how is a half mile accurate? I am not impressed. I just downloaded it to my blackberry and saw that on my screen. It showed my location so far off that if I was using it to actually find something, I would have thrown the thing out the window.
