An insider has informed us that Verizon is close to launching the new Blackberry 7130e, giving us a date of November 14th. The new Blackberry 7130e is based off of the 7100 platform so it will include 240×260 65,000 color screen, SureType, Bluetooth, and 64mb of RAM. The major difference is the support of EV-DO to allow high speed broadband like download rates.
* Thanks to Mike for the tip …

Could it be anymore ugly?
Looks like something batman used to talk to robin in like 1992.
For something like that, I rather get the Sidekick II
the ugly red banner of VZW….piece of crap!
This device is a killer. There is nothing else that well engineered, robust, fast, great for typing, elegant looking, for the price.
Get it, try it, love it.
If you like toys’R'us handhelds, not for you.

The Blackberry Desktop Software 4.1 is bad,
beacuse File:Msi Exec.exe cannot be install in
the 7130e – there is a malicious script detected.
Can Blackberry sent a correct CD, so I can install the new CD in the 7130e?
Purcase the 7130e at Verizon store in Omaha,NE at the store located on Dodge street.
I just received new 7130e I am currently having battery usage problems. WIth not activity (calls) it will lose 85% charge in less than 4-6 hours. I am having to leave it plugged in any time I stop at my desk or vehicle. Blackberry does not have any support for an extended battery. Verizon is sending me another phone, saying there has been reported issues… what does that mean?
My bananna fingers operate it well.
I cannnot seem to connect to *28899 for hardware phone maintenance either. since activation.
Corporate IS/IT is having difficult time connecting the e-mail redirect features also.
