Don’t want to spend money buying an RSS reader for your Blackberry, well there’s an alternative. Feedblitz allows you to get all the blogs and news articles directly emailed to your Blackberry. Getting news through emails has many advantages including speed and the ability to read articles when out of coverage. One issue that we have with Feedblitz is that it only sends one email around midnight so you may miss out on some breaking news. So if you’re a news addict you may want to look at another alternative.

The basic FeedBlitz service is indeed a nightly poll, but publishers AND subscriber news hounds can sign up for a “Turbo” plan that polls up to hourly for faster responsiveness. With FeedBlitz both publishers and consumers of RSS / blog content have choices about when they receive their updates.
