We have all lost devices and gave up on ever getting them back, but a new service is trying to change that. StuffBak is a service that provides a system for getting your portable electronic devices back when you lose them. The only upfront cost that you pay is for the StuffBak labels which identify your account and that will set you back about $2-3 a label. If you should lose a Blackberry or any other electronic devices then the finder can simply drop the item off at UPS store and receive a $20 reward to boot. The owner of the electronic device will have to pay a $15-$30 fee to get their item back, well worth the price if you lose your Blackberry.
Several news stations have tested out the service and have found that the majority of people are honest and will return the lost item. StuffBak claims about 5 every 6 lost items are returned but even if those numbers are inflated it is better than having no chance at all.
