I just picked up the new Blackberry 8700 and have been trying to connect it to the company’s BES. However it always gets stuck at a certain point and I have to restart it. Do you have any idea what the issue may be, we’re a small company so we don’t have a dedicated Blackberry person.
You need to wipe your Blackberry clean and then retry the activation process. There’s a few ways to clean off your Blackberry like through the Desktop Manager but the easiest way is through the handheld itself.
To wipe the handheld
1. In the device options, click Security Options.
2. Click General Settings.
3. Click the trackwheel and click Wipe Handheld.
4. Click Continue.
5. Type blackberry.
