Is your home screen getting too cluttered or do you have programs that you’ve never used ever like the ‘Help’ program? Well you can clean your home screen by hiding the icons, a way to unclutter your screen without actually removing the program entirely from your device. To hide any icons, just hold down ALT+Wheel-click and then hit ‘Hide Application’. If for any reason you want to show your hidden applications, just hit ALT+Wheel-click and ‘Show All’.

Hmm. ALT+ESC on my 8700c give me the open applications list.
Great tip, tanks ! Actually, I was looking for a way to have the icons in a certain way, i.e. the Move App function.
Hey this really works. Thanks for the tip. It was confusing for me at first though. Your tip says ALT + Wheel, but that didn’t work for me then realised it should be pressing ALT key first and then pressing Wheel. Thanks a lot for the tip.
When I try to hide the icon, it doesnt disappear it just gets lighter in color???
