Accessing MSN Services on your Blackberry

MSN Mobile
You can access popular MSN services on your Blackberry with MSN Mobile. Chat with MSN Messenger or check your Hotmail or Windows Live email accounts right from your browser. Having access to your Hotmail is probably the most useful seeing that you can not integrate your Hotmail account with your Blackberry unless you upgrade to Hotmail Plus. Although not as user friendly as reading and writing emails on your Blackberry it still is a decent alternative if you need to check your Hotmail account. Other MSN services that you can play around with are MSN Spaces, Calender, and Money.

Jarvis, try out this site (enter on your blackberry)

    http://www.blackberry.com/devicesoftware/entry.do?code=msn

Whether it works or not depends on your telephony company.

Mike, I got the same combination as you (curve on O2UK) and I can’t get the app anywhere. looks like we might have to stick with the online version.

    Sucks! thanks O2.

You can only get the real msn programme on carrier phones with “3″ none of the other networks do it, there is one thats expensive and costs u a text for every message sent.

the msn service direct through mobile msn site is naff, messages are slow even with wifi phones and often u conversation gets dropped.

yahoo is good on ur smartphone and will work with any blackberry you can have all ur hotmail contacts through yahoo programme, only problem is they cant see ur picture.

for the chap trying to sync his phone with address book just plug it in and click sync with the desktop programme, it piks off all ur contacts from ur pc and e mails.

    So blackberrys DO have msn?

Because im tossing up between Hiptop & Blackberry, and the only thing possibly making me choose the Hiptop is the easy-to-use msn.

Briefly fill me in,that’d be great.

I have successfully installed MSN client on my BB 8900. Since i don’t subscribe to any BB internet service, i use my my home WiFi to connect to internet. I am able to browse website by this way but when i try to log in to my MSN account through de MSN client from the BB an error message occurs:

This service is not available on your handheld.

Do i need a BB internet service from my provider to avoid this problem?

    Thanks in advanced.
    Regards.
