When Google Local for the Blackberry came out we couldn’t get a proper screenshot but hopefully this will do. Thanks to ‘gadget’ who sent us these pictures which show how the program works. As you can see from the top photo, this is the default map view which has boxes numbered from 1-9. These numbered boxes represent business search results, ie if you search for ‘chinese’ those points would represent chinese restaurants. Navigation is easy, just hit the corresponding number to get the business’ information like address and phone. From there you can also get directions to the location making it easier to find because street names are not always displayed due to the small screen limitation.
The second picture is a Satellite view, which is pretty self-explanatory.
