Good Technology Inc. said on Friday that it has added $20 million in a fourth round of funding to expand its core products.
Good Technology, based in Santa Clara, received the funds from ValueAct Capital Partners of San Francisco. As a result of the financing, ValueAct partner Michael Lawrie will join Good Technologies’ board of directors. Lawrie is a former chief executive officer of Siebel Systems Inc., now part of Oracle Corp.
“This add-on round is going to be used to expand three of our products — GoodLink, GoodAccess and Good Mobile Defense — for a growing number of new devices that are being introduced this year,” said Reena Mukamal, a spokeswoman for the company.
