Telecom analyst Albert Lin of American Technology Research is reporting that Verizon Wireless should ship the Motorola Q by the end of the month. This coincides with earlier reports from Engadget that Verizon and Motorola plan to hold a joint press conference on May 22nd in New York to announce the device. Verizon is expected to have exclusive rights to sell the smartphone for at least the near future, with the service provider offering it up at around $299 for a two year contract.
Anticipation for the Q has been pretty high due to the smartphone’s sleek, RAZR-like design, and is sure to be a stiff competitor for Nokia’s E61 and the 8700 BlackBerry. Why don’t you look at a video of the Q in action?
