Amzer, a worldwide leader in wireless accesories, announced today the release of the Amzer BlackBerry 8700 Cradle with Quick Charge Technology. Amzer’s 8700 cradle apparently eliminates the need of ever having to use a DC adapter again to charge your BlackBerry with its ability to quickly charge from any USB capable Mac or PC. This is the same product that Seidio put out. The profuct does not work well at all. It take some force to get the handheld to connect and then even when it does connect it doesn’t stay connected.

I ordered the product from Seidio, they are aware of the defect and are working on a solution for all of us who have ordered it. If you’re going to order the 8700 cradle, wait for the new release from Seidio and order it from them.
