RIM announced early this morning that, in partnership with Korean mobile telecommunication specialists KT Powertel, they are now providing the 7100i BlackBerry and BES services to Korea for the first time ever.

Those lucky Germans get to have all the fun. RIM announced today that Germany will be the first to receive the BlackBerry 8707 through carrier Vodafone. Of course, the big news about the 8707 is its UMTS network support, being the first BlackBerry to support the GSM-evolved 3G standard.
