Blackberry 7130c profileCingular Wireless and RIM jointly announced today the official release of the new BlackBerry 7130c. The EDGE-enabled 7130c will be available starting next Monday, June 12th, priced at $199.99 with a two-year contract. However, Cingular has also announced that their BlackBerry Personal Plan will also be available starting June 12, a voice and data package with the flat rate of 29.99 USD per month (44.99 USD for enterprise customers) — a pretty good deal to go with a great looking device.

“BlackBerry has long been the darling of corporate America,” said Mike Woodward, executive director, mobile professional solutions, for Cingular Wireless. “But clearly wireless e-mail can benefit more than just corporations. Cingular’s new BlackBerry Personal Plan and the easy-to-use BlackBerry 7130c are designed specifically to make wireless email accessible to everyone that leads a mobile lifestyle.”

I am currently a Cingular BB customer (non-enterprise) and pay $45 a month. Will I be able to get the new lower rate?
