NTT DoCoMo to sell BlackBerrys in Japan


docomo logoRIM announced today that NTT DoCoMo, a worldwide mobile communications company will start marketing BlackBerrys to its customers in Japan starting autumn 2006. The devices will operate on UMTS and GPRS/GSM networks but will only be available to enterprise customers for the short term.

In a tasty bit of mobile communications trivia, NTT DoCoMo launched the world’s first 3G mobile service based on W-CDMA in 2001.

    Hi everyone, can u answer my concern, i have bb bold and i bought it in the phils, its unlocked so im sure it works with other networks, ill be moving to japan and my concern is can i get postpaid simcard for my bb bold from phils, ijust want a sim card with bb plans i dnt need a new bb handset.
