The Mobile Life Report, the UK’s biggest social mobile handset metrics report, has just been released and there are some interesting numbers to pull out.
— On average, people send 3.6 mobile text messages a day vs. making 2.8 voice calls a day, with 51% of 18-24 year-olds sending/receiving at least six text messages a day – but only 15% have six or more mobile phone conversations a day.
— 41% of mobile users think they are too much at the beck and call of their employer as a result of using their mobile for work. Not surprisingly, 57% consider it unreasonable to take a mobile phone on holiday to speak frequently to work colleagues.
So, basically, adults in the UK feel that they use their mobile too much, while their kids can’t get enough, right?
