Vodafone Australia launches 8707v and 7130v

8707vVodafone Australia and RIM jointly announced today the launch of the BlackBerry 8707v and 7130v in our favorite land down under. Our friends of the Commonwealth will be receiving a great one-two puch with these devices: a QVGA, 3G rock in the 8707v and the slick EDGE 7100 successor in the 7130v. Both devices use Intel’s XScale processor.

“The launch of the two new BlackBerry handsets reinforces Vodafone’s over-arching vision of delivering true mobility to Australian businesses and their employees,” Edward Goff, General Manager Business Markets at Vodafone Australia. “Both the BlackBerry 8707v and BlackBerry 7130v give users greater control and flexibility over the way they communicate and do business.”
