The Ottawa Business Journal is reporting that CRYPTOCard (local Ottawa boys, hooya!) has developed a new piece of software to make remote connections through your BlackBerry more secure. The software allows the BlackBerry to generate a random one-time password that, when combined with the user’s unique device password, will make it easier to positively authenticate themselves to the corporate network.
CRYPTOCard says the new software makes stolen credentials useless to hackers because of the unique one-time password generated for every log-on attempt. To learn more about CRYPTOCard and their software, go here.
