The Cingular 8525 (aka the Hermes, aka the TyTN) has just shown up on the ‘net in render-form. Of note in the render is the conspicuous absence of a front facing camera, which can be found in the 8525′s other varients. Engadget Mobile is reporting that this is because Cingular’s video calling infrastructure isn’t ready to go yet, and we’re all wondering why Cingular just doesn’t release a firmware update for camera functionality later when they’re ready, instead of changing the hardware. Oh well.
