BlackBerry 8703e

As usual, BlackBerry Forums is the source of our latest BlackBerry rumors and speculation. First, enjoy this much better pic of the Verizon’s upcoming BlackBerry 8703e. Next, bask in wonder at the rumor that the 8703e will also feature GSM/EDGE support at the 900 and 1800 MHz bands. What this basically means is that you’ll be able to use it as a GSM device outside of North America, beyond rocking out EV-DO in the motherland.

    Brice: That’s the rumor. Now, the SIM card will only work outside of north america. This isn’t the first CDMA phone that also has GSM for outside America travellers. Why, you could of purchased the Motorola A840 and done that.
