MobileVoiceControl for Sprint BlackBerry users

MobileVoiceControl

We told you bact at WES about Voice on the Go, but now there’s a new mobile speech application for BlackBerry, and it’s called MobileVoiceControl. Exclusively for Sprint customers, the subscription-based product allows users to search for Web content, or perform dialing, email and calendar functions by simply “asking” their phone for the information. Here’s a sample of some of MobileVoiceControl’s commands:

* “Find business, Overnight Shipping, near Jacksonville, Fla.”
* “Call Jim Johnson at work.”
* “Email Karen Smith. Subject: budget meeting. Body: The time has been changed to 2 p.m.”
* “Weather for Chicago, Ill.”
* “Sports: baseball”
* “Top news stories”
* “Search Web for population of Arkansas”
* “Go to Website, anysite.com”
