Unless the Canadian cellular Carriers that are going to carry what they hope to consumer-level data devices like the pearl lower the cost of their data packages, they'll find that their take-up level on devices like this will be limited at best.

When 5 megs of data costs $25, and "Unlimited" data (At an astounding $100 per month) is capped at 25 megs, companies like Rogers (and the other carriers are not much better) will be left wondering why the mainstream consumer shuns mobile data.

The current costs are simply rediculous unless some corporation or company is paying your bill for you. Joe Consumer who simply wants to check the sports scores on the web and email his friends and familly aren't going to pay $100 per month for the privledge.
