Oh, sweet day, you have finally come. For those of you tired of all the Pearl coverage on BlackBerry Cool, you might as well not come back today: RIM has officially announced the BlackBerry Pearl!

Through the integration of hardware, software and service, we are able to deliver a mobile experience that stands apart in the industry. We are extremely excited to be launching this breakthrough handset and we look forward to rolling it out around the world with our carrier partners,” said Mike Lazaridis, President and Co-CEO, Research In Motion.

    Just a little nitpik and I understand the qwerty layout of the letters, but wouldn’t it make more since to have w as the primary letter and the less used q be the one you need to double tap for.
