Smart phones compete for “smartest” title

We just watched the trailer for the new film in the Rocky series, but we’d rather check up on another battle. Information Week’s decided to not only put Palm up against the BlackBerry, but give some numbers to back up any blows. The gorgeous graph shows RIM on top of the game, holding onto a 53% market share. Will the Pearl keep them on top, or is Palm looking to slap the competition (albeit with a weak one for now)?

“Palm sees Windows Mobile as its best bet in the business market because it ties in to servers and applications. But the BlackBerry has a considerable lead, accounting for more than half of all smart phones sold in the United States last year.”
