[...] Straight off the floors of CTIA, and thanks to MobileTechReviews, news has surfaced from i-mate (what’s with this trend in lower case lettering?). Four new mid-range Windows Mobile devices will be launched: the i-mate JAQ (pictured), i-mate SPL (which appears to be the kid brother of Motorola’s SLVR), i-mate SP JAS and the i-mate JASJAM (both 3G). To date, the Group has launched twelve devices, operating across GSM, CDMA, UMTS and WiFi networks, and these new members of the family should give the i-mate name a stronger hold in the marketplace. I loaded this onto my 8700c and it works fine. Nothing is stopping Americans from downloading clips with this software.
