Four new Windows Mobile devices from i-mate

Straight off the floors of CTIA, and thanks to MobileTechReviews, news has surfaced from i-mate (what’s with this trend in lower case lettering?). Four new mid-range Windows Mobile devices will be launched: the i-mate JAQ (pictured), i-mate SPL (which appears to be the kid brother of Motorola’s SLVR), i-mate SP JAS and the i-mate JASJAM (both 3G).

To date, the Group has launched twelve devices, operating across GSM, CDMA, UMTS and WiFi networks, and these new members of the family should give the i-mate name a stronger hold in the marketplace. Shots of the other new i-mate family members are below (and visit i-mate’s official home for more details on these newborn’s). Any thoughts on this, folks? Or are you all still busy Pearl-gazing like us?

Don’t worry, folks. There’ll be more exciting BlackBerry news soon. Maybe the Pearl is actually a Transformer, you know, like Optimus Prime? Wishful thinking.

I agree with moog…all of this assortment of WM devices is just one big bore…the plethora of models is just confusing to customers, and when all is said and done, they are still WM devices, which cripples them.

Agree with all of the above. All these beautiful WinMobile devices are like supermodels with crappy personality. You’re attracted to them at first glance but then after the honeymoon period is over you realize she sucks and not the good kind of sucking.
