Pearl “Best Smart Device” – PC Magazine

Who’s heard of the Hawthorne Effect? Testing done years ago showed that employees who receive positive reinforcement perform better than those who receive no reinforcement at all. Maybe this is just what the Pearl needs to become the top device on the market. Either way, PC Magazine has decided to honour the best smart devices in conjuction with their new Smart Device Central site, and you had better believe that the Pearl made their list.

“The latest Blackberry brings the revered platform to a new level in beauty and functionality with MP3 and video players, a camera, and a new track ball replacing the old, tired scroll wheel.”

The Motorola Q, Nokia E62, and Palm Treo 700p were all included on the list, as well.
